This is my favorite folk song of all time from the American music duo, Simon and Garfunkel, written by Paul Simon between 1963 and 1964. It Was recorded in March 1964 for their studio album, Wednesday Morning 3 A.M.
The Sound of Silence is the first folk song I’ve heard. The meaning and tune still haunts me until today, which lured me into the world of poetry and verses.
